Keeping things boring: How to build a successful app with a team of three.

English Intermediate Other

During the corona pandemic we reinvented our company and pivoted to a 100% SaaS business build on Azure . With only 3 developers it is important to have a system that is easy to maintain, flexible for changing business requirements and cost effective due to a competitive market. In this talk I want to show how we transformed our business and achieved our goals by building our app on 'boring' but well proven Azure features such as Comos DB, Azure Functions and Event Grid. The motivation for the talk is to show other community members that it is possible to build a successful application with limited financial resources and limited knowledge about the Azure platform - you don't have to be an expert to get started.
