In dieser spannenden Session tauchen wir gemeinsam mit dem Publikum in die Welt von Azure Stack HCI ab und zeigen wie ein Azure API Management self-hosted Gateway mittels AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) auf dieser cloud-nativen Plattform bereitgestellt werden kann. Ziel ist es, on-premises Funktionalitäten bestehender API Gateways hochverfügbar und sicher auszuliefern. wir berichten dazu auch von unseren Erfahrungen, die wir aus Umsetzungen dieser Lösung sammeln durften. Im anschließenden Schritt bauen wir die Backendapplikation unserer Demo-API on-prem in den HCI AKS als Containerworkload ein und zeigen, wie die gleichen APIs sich mittels dapr Sidecars automatisiert im API Management abbilden lassen. Das Ergebnis ist eine moderne in Containern bereitgestellte Applikationen in einem hybriden AKS-Setup. Die Session wird von zwei Cloud-Architekturen mit Fokus auf Integration Services und Hybrid Cloud gehalten und vermittelt Deep Dive- Level Verständnis zu den Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Kubernetes und API Management in hybriden Szenarien, die bei Kunden Anwendung fanden.
Martin Pitzing is a Cloud Architect at ACP IT Solutions with a background in Data Engineering, BI, Kubernetes, MS Azure, and Amazon Web Services. Starting from a business perspective, Martin Pitzing developed deep insights into data visualization, modeling, and data pipeline design. Having worked at large enterprises as well as small boutiques, incorporating security and governance is a top priority for him and his works with his clients. Currently, he is focusing on data analytics platforms, IasC, containerization, and all about Power Platform environment and integration thereof.
Thomas Bründl works as a Hybrid Cloud & Datacenter Experts at ACP IT Solutions. As part of the cloud engineering team (Hybrid Cloud & Datacenter) he helps companies to transform their business to the cloud (strong focus on Azure and AWS). In one of his previous roles, he was responsible for the migration of a software suite designed for the financial sector, as well as for its continuous improvement.This requires a good knowledge of the IT landscape on premises as well as the capabilities offered by the major hyper-scalers. He is currently focused on hybrid solutions, such as Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc, Netapp OnTap and many others, and their optimal integration into customer landscapes.
