José Manuel Jurado currently works as SQL Escalation Engineer and Subject Matter Expert in Azure SQL Database at Microsoft Spain. With over 15+ years of experience in SQL Server environments (administration and database development), he is a speaker for internal events at Microsoft and for public events as SQL Saturday, SQL Nexus, TechReady, DotNetConference and Azure BootCamp. In the past, he worked as Project Manager for large Global Retail Company for more than 10 years developing projects using different Microsoft Technologies.
I born in IT as a developer. I worked in Data Modeling, as Consultant, Software Architect and Project Manager in a Consultancy Service Company, what leads me to create my own Consultancy Company. I worked on it for almost 15 years till an awesome company, Microsoft, knock my door. I have delivered training in Developing Technologies, Programming Methodology, Software development process, ALM, different programming languages, Project Managing, Data Modeling, MySQL and SQL among other subjects Currently I am happily working in Microsoft, based in Madrid (Spain), focused in SQL Server Business as Support Escalation Engineer for SQL Server Core in EMEA Azure SQL Server Hybrid.
