How does a Managed Service Provider administer services across dozens or even hundreds of customer subscriptions? Managed Service Providers (MSPs) deliver value by offloading the administrative and maintenance burden of running your own applications. In the Azure world, those applications are typically hosted in customer subscriptions, associated with the customer’s Azure AD tenant. Until recently, managing applications at scale across multiple subscriptions and tenant presented a huge challenge. Azure Lighthouse is a game-changing service that solves this problem, allowing delegated resource management and cross-tenant management experiences. In this session, we’ll review the capabilities of Azure Lighthouse, explain the key lighthouse concepts, and show you how to get started with the service.

Jonathan is the European Managing Director for Opsgility, a leading training provider specializing in Azure and Microsoft Cloud. He’s also one of the authors of the official guide to the AZ-103 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification exam, published by Microsoft Press. Prior to joining Opsgility, Jonathan was a ~10 year Microsoft veteran, spending over 6 years in the Azure Engineering team where he was Principal Program Manager for both Azure DNS and Azure Traffic Manager. Jonathan has 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, in roles spanning development, product management, technical pre-sales and program management.
