Global Azure Spain is a community organizing the Global Azure event in Spain, sponsored by Microsoft and local partners being one of the most important technical forums about Microsoft's Cloud Computing platform.
Tuesday, April 29, 2024 - Global Azure Spain
The Global Azure Spain event has closed its 11th edition with more than 400 attendees in three cities, a figure that represents a 210% increase compared to last year. The success of the meeting positions it as one of the technological community events with the greatest projection and growth rate in Spain.
Between April 17 and 20, Global Azure Spain brought together enthusiasts of Microsoft's public cloud platform in Barcelona, Madrid, and Zaragoza. Attendees enjoyed over 30 hours of content on various current topics related to the Azure environment, such as artificial intelligence, data, infrastructure, application development, quantum computing, and containers.
The meeting featured remote participation from Alberto Granados, President of Microsoft Spain, and Scott Hanselman, VP of Developer Community at Microsoft, in the opening session. Along with them, over 50 speakers explained the latest developments in various Azure services in-person throughout more than 40 sessions.
This year, the event has significantly increased its exhibition space, as it has received a record level of support in its history in Spain, in terms of the number of sponsoring and collaborating entities committed to this Microsoft technology. This has created networking opportunities for the public and mechanisms to attract talent among technological profiles.
Global Azure promotes global collaboration in the technological community altruistically, serving as a reference meeting point for learning and collaborating in a charitable cause. Another notable aspect of this edition has been the contribution, through the donation of the event's proceeds, to the Doctors of the World association, for their invaluable work in ensuring the right to health for the most vulnerable populations.
Global Azure Spain is the organizing community in Spain for the Global Azure event, the largest global community event on Microsoft's cloud platform. This event takes place annually and simultaneously over three days in locations around the world.
In collaboration with Microsoft and sponsored by local partners, it is one of the most important technical forums on Azure, where technology enthusiasts, professionals, students, and community leaders from around the world gather to share their knowledge and experiences.
